don't let users vote their own stuff up
I shouldn't be able to give myself points on my own answers.

Absolutely correct. It's an open issue right now, high on the list.
7/8/09: All set now. There's no feedback, but you'll notice that hitting the "good" buttons on your own stuff now does absolutely nothing.
Related: I think this removed all self-vote points from the database, too, so you might notice scores changed this morning.
